County Recorders Association of California Legislative Initiatives

In 2013, the members of CRAC developed an advocacy plan to oppose the passage of SB 391.  Below are a number of the tools that CRAC used to address the issues with this legislation both with the authors of the bill and with the public.  Thanks to the efforts of CRAC members, this bill died in committee.

SB 391 Bullet Points Senate Bill 391 is the California Homes and Jobs Act of 2013.  If enacted, a fee of $75 would be imposed on the recordation of all real estate documents
