Security Workgroup

The Security Workgroup has completed drafting its “Electronic Recording Security Considerations” document.  This White Paper is intended to introduce a variety of topics that should be considered when implementing an eRecording system.

In addition to the White Paper itself, there are two spreadsheet attachments.  One is a self-assessment tool that can be used by counties for their specific environment - the other is the tool as completed by the PRIA Security Workgroup to serve as an example of how the evaluation might look when completed.

The White Paper is now available for PRIA members to review and was recommended for adoption at the Annual Conference in Spokane, WA. Please click here to download the "Electronic Recording Security Considerations" in .zip file format.
